Engineering Manager I - Workflow App
Paris, France
Datadog is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Workflow App team, which is responsible for the UI that brings the Datadog Workflows product to life. Workflows product allows customers to orchestrate and automate their end-to-end processes with a simple yet powerful interface.
As the manager of the Workflow App team, you will be leading a critical segment of Datadog Workflows products. Your team owns the entire user experience, enabling the creation, execution and debugging of complex workflows with our state-of-the-art, in-house workflow editor UI. You’ll be involved in all aspects of the product, from product direction to technical leadership, while also developing and growing a team of talented engineers. This is an exciting opportunity to participate in the evolution of a critical new Datadog product: allowing our clients to go from observing to responding
What You’ll Do:
Lead and cultivate a team of engineers, including performance management and career development Partner with Product, internal and external stakeholders to shape our integration roadmap Own the full development lifecycle and operation of our integrations Drive the UI development of the state-of-the-art Workflow Builder, as well as all UI aspects related to the Workflow Automation product. Define what "next level Workflow experience" means by partnering with UX designers and Product managers to define an engaging experience to solve real customer problems.Who You Are:
You have successfully led diverse and inclusive engineering teams, including onboarding and performance management You are passionate about and have a proven track record shipping high-quality products You are comfortable taking ambiguous requirements and creating a plan with measurable and tangible outcomes, as well as getting buy-in from stakeholders You have deep experience in frontend technologies, proficient in CSS, TypeScript, and React, and are able to navigate through technical challenges for both yourself and other engineers working with you. You have a track record of leading and operating code in production Understands the value of driving efficiencies through automation, orchestration and partnerships with external teams Experienced in working and communicating effectively in a fast-paced, high growth, distributed organizationDatadog values people from all walks of life.
