Le poste:
L’Engineering Manager accompagne une ou deux équipes au sein de la tribu « Nom de la tribu » et reporte au Head of Engineering de celle-ci.
Il est responsable de la bonne exécution de la roadmap, de l’engagement des équipes et de l’amélioration continue des méthodes de travail. Il participe à l’élaboration de la roadmap produit et technique (gestion de la dette technique, maintien en condition opérationnelle, etc.) et est capable de challenger aussi bien les aspects techniques que produits.
Il possède également une capacité à évoluer dans un environnement avec des équipes pluridisciplinaires, tant sur les aspects de management que de communication. Il sait alterner entre les postures de manager, servant leader, facilitateur et mentor.
Missions:
Gestion de la roadmap:
Participer à la définition de la roadmap de l’équipe et suivre sa bonne exécution
S’assurer de la qualité des développements par rapport aux standards techniques (tests, observabilité, performance, résilience, sécurité, etc.)
Être responsable de l’amélioration continue du fonctionnement de l’équipe basé notamment sur l’analyse des KPIs
Management & Collaboration:
Être garant du casting de ces équipes, du recrutement et du développement des Believers (feedbacks, OKRs, coaching, etc.)
Motiver et donner du sens au travail quotidien des équipes
Servir de relais de communication efficace auprès des équipes
Être responsable de la qualité de la collaboration et les interactions entre les personnes ou les équipes
Promouvoir l’autonomie et la responsabilisation des équipes
Valoriser et partager les succès et les apprentissages des équipes
Être moteur sur les chantiers de transformation à tous les niveaux de l’organisation (squad, tribu et au-delà)
Technique:
S’assurer de la mise en œuvre et du respect des normes et pratiques Tech globales
S’assurer de la pertinence des décisions techniques d’équipe par rapport à l’architecture globale
Veiller à ce que ces décisions soit prises en collaboration avec les autres équipes tech (Architecture, SRE, QA...)
Accompagner les équipes sur le chemin du « Continuous Delivery » et de la philosophie « Build it, Run it, Fix it »
Gérer efficacement la dette technique sous toutes ses formes
Effectuer une veille active sur les nouvelles pratiques et tendances techniques, et partager régulièrement ces connaissances avec les autres Believers
Qualifications
- Une passion pour l’ingénierie logicielle, la technologie et l’innovation
Un gout prononcé pour le travail collaboratif, le partage de connaissances et l’approche itérative dans ton travail
Une compréhension des dynamiques humaines qui favorisent l’engagement des personnes vis-à-vis de leur équipe et leur entreprise
Une expérience réussie en tant que manager d’au moins une équipe
Une posture du servant leader
La capacité à adapter ta communication à tes interlocuteurs
Une aptitude à convaincre et te laisser convaincre
La connaissance et l’application la philosophie derrière les pratiques telles que le Software Craftmanship, le DevOps, ou les méthodes agiles et tu mets ces outils au service de l’exécution de la roadmap
Un diplôme en informatique... ou pas
