We are looking for our future highly motivated and creative junior CMF Designer to join our dynamic team in the Apparel Section. The junior CMF Designer will play a key role in assisting the CMF (Color, Material, and Finish) team in developing seasonal color palettes, graphic designs, and material strategies that reflect Salomon's brand identity and meet the needs of our diverse customer base.
Your missions will be:
Support Seasonal CMF Strategy: Assist the CMF team in researching and identifying emerging trends in color, materials, and finishes relevant to outdoor sports apparel. Collaborate with team members to develop seasonal CMF mood boards and inspiration sources.Color Palette Development: Work closely with designers to create and refine color palettes that align with Salomon's brand DNA and resonate with target consumers. Assist in organizing and maintaining color libraries.Graphic Design Assistance: Collaborate with graphic designers to develop print and pattern concepts for apparel collections, incorporating seasonal themes, brand elements, and technical requirements. Provide input on graphic placement and scale. Assist in organizing and maintaining strike-off libraries.Material Research: Do trend research on new materials and trims for apparel products, considering performance, sustainability, and aesthetic factors.Cross-functional skills :

IT: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and other design software
Language(s): Excellent standard of English is a must, good standard of French is a plus
Specific skills:
Strong visual and aesthetic sensibility with an eye for color, pattern, and texturePassion for outdoor sports and familiarity with Salomon's brand and product offeringsKnowledge of materials and manufacturing processes is a plusKnowledge of D software for cmf (CloD, Substance) is a plusInformations supplémentairesFull Time Internship + Mandatory School Internship Agreement
