Based in Trappes, France, Eramet Ideas is staffed by experts who work closely with site-based operational teams. Eramet Ideas has expertise in mining, extractive metallurgy and recycling, and helps to improve the Groups short-term operating performance, while developing long-term projects in support of the strategic roadmap.

Become the driving force behind our Portfolio Performance and Integration strategy In this pivotal role, you'll lead the charge from identifying lucrative business opportunities to managing innovation within our dynamic matrix structure. Collaborate closely with teams like Eramet Ideas, Research and Development, and Industrialization to achieve collective success in our fast-paced environment.

As our director, you'll drive autonomy, agility, and discipline to prioritize high-value opportunities that propel our Group forward. You'll unite diverse teams, leverage your network, and pave the way for exponential growth. Facilitating seamless communication between Eramet Ideas, the broader business units, and other entities, you'll foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.

We're looking for someone with a deep understanding of industrial and mining expertise (operational) in strategy, commercial affairs, and technical fields. Your ability to engage stakeholders and anticipate industry trends will be crucial in driving continuous improvement in our portfolio. Join us and shape the future of Eramet Ideas

Responsibilities :

Actively contribute to shaping the new business model, strategy, and development of Eramet Ideas alongside the selected management committee. Drive the adoption of an agile innovation process, ensuring high standards of performance and integration throughout the innovation cycle. Implement cutting-edge innovation practices and tools to facilitate collaboration and accelerate the development of innovative programs. Lead the business engagement process to identify strategic priorities stemming from current and future operational and business opportunities. Oversee the portfolio valuation and prioritization process, ensuring alignment with environmental, social, and financial value creation in line with our corporate strategy. Enhance engagement with internal stakeholders by effectively communicating portfolio progress and promoting greater innovation adoption. Cultivate innovation capabilities and foster collaboration principles to establish a foundation for a high-performing team. Design and execute innovation accelerator platforms on a global scale.

About you:

A minimum of 15 years of demonstrated relevant experience, showcasing a successful track record in innovation portfolio management on a global scale and within cross-cultural environments. Masters degree related to business, commercial, mining, or engineering. Fluency in English; fluency in French is preferred.

The Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate:

Proven ability to drive innovation strategy and deliver innovation projects in close collaboration with assets and mining operations teams. Strong business acumen in identifying innovation opportunities. Track record of experience in establishing innovation accelerator programs with technology startups on a global scale. Experience in the mining and resources industry, leading high-performance teams and driving cultural transformation. Effective collaboration and communication skills, with a history of engaging with senior executives and business leaders. Comfortability working with complexity and ambiguity to drive risk and value-based decision-making. Extensive international network within the mining and innovation ecosystem. Fluency in English; fluency in French is preferred.
