Yourmissions :

The industrial Buyer oversees indirect purchases related to industrial sites, including the following commodities: Consumables (industrial consumables, laboratory consumables, shipping consumables), Maintenance, Quality Control Laboratory Subcontracting activities, Facility Management.
You will report to the Industrial Purchaser and France Purchasing Manager. You oversee industrial purchases for the 3 French sites.

The main objectives will be to : 

improve the purchasing maturity of some commodities, especially consumables. Find optimization levers on consumables: standardization, new sources, etc. Participate in business continuity improvement: sourcing, contracts, supply set ups, challenge internal needs and specifications, find alternatives & equivalences Bring purchasing added value to French industrial campuses:
o Work with local controlling to get accurate, consolidated data and budget
o Get involved in the budget process at the right time and the right level
o Monitor deviations/gaps vs budget
o Set up and contribute to savings initiatives Build a risk assessment approach adapted to the scopes Manage operational purchasing and guarantee the good use of purchasing processes Commodities Contribute to the organization of events toward local Purchasing Initiatives (Salon des Achats)

Yourprofile :

Position: Master's Student (Master 1 or 2)

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in Master 1 program (preferred).  Multicultural Team - Fluent English is Imperative
