CIMMYT is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and service-oriented professional for the position of Financial Analyst to work in the Global Wheat Program.
The positions will be based at CIMMYT headquarters in Texcoco, near Mexico City.
Specific duties:
Execute and submit for approval rationale and supporting documentation for reallocations of expenditure between projects. Perform Journals and PRS related to supplies and Services as needed. Do the proper follow up with corporate services areas related to pending/open issues (i.e. Legal, FMU, etc.) Analyze, supervise, and monitor category expenses. Monitoring of purchase requisitions and doing the proper follow up, (Monthly analysis file). Maintain and Update Staff List in excel. Staff list conciliation vs Employee database in AX. Monthly review and analysis of Shared cost regarding to GWP staff in ROS. Commitments monthly conciliation. Review and analyze monthly expenses from Regional Offices related to GWP Projects’. GWP analysis as requested. Support financial functions and activities related to the GWP project portfolio.Requirements
The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of working experience in a related field.
The candidate must have knowledge of MS Office specially excel.
The selected candidate must have an intermediate level in English language (English test will be administered; candidate must score a minimum of B1 as per CEFR).
