We are located within the luxurious 5-star Sydney hotel, Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour, which offers apartment-style suites for business and leisure guest’s luxury accommodation.
Job Description
Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour is seeking for a truly passionate hospitality professional who has a bright and bubbly personality to represent and be the first impression of Hyde Hacienda Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for:
Explaining the menu to guests, assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences as well as provide suitable assistance when recommending beverages. Delivering food & beverage items to tables. Providing all customers with memorable, personal and unique experiences showcasing Hyde Hacienda’s flair and glamour. Maintaining product knowledge and maximising bar sales. Keeping your section of the floor organised. Ensure that dockets are written clearly and correctly so the cashier and kitchen can fulfill their duties effectively. Promptly answer the telephone and maximize sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggestive selling.Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in a similar role Experience in high volume, fast-paced restaurant/bar environment beneficial Cocktail, spirit and wine knowledge is advantageous Passion for delivering outstanding service Excellent interpersonal skills, whilst being guest orientated and service minded Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Confidence in liaising with various internal and external clients Flexibility to work across a 7 day rotating roster, including nights and weekends
