Job Responsibilities

  1. Assist the buyers and product director, in developing products.
  2. Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate terms and conditions.
  3. Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods.
  4. Monitor product performance and report on sales.
  5. Handle administrative tasks related to the buying process.
  6. Work with both inbound and outbound teams on any product-related issues.
  7. Maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sample room.
  8. Track incoming and outgoing samples ensuring timely delivery.
  9. Gather line sheets and samples for studio photoshoots.
  10. Responsible for reviewing photoshoot pictures and providing comments to the studio, when necessary.
  11. Coordinate between editing team and copywriting team for any uploading issues.
  12. Stay up-to-date on current fashion trends, and use this knowledge to inform buying decisions.

Job Requirements

  1. 1 – 2+ years of professional fashion corporate or retail experience.
  2. High level of proficiency in Excel.
  3. Strong organization skills and attention to detail a must.
  4. Ability to problem solve and identify solutions.
  5. Sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
  6. Strong communication and writing skills.
  7. Ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors to accomplish tasks.
