Job Responsibilities
- Assist the buyers and product director, in developing products.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate terms and conditions.
- Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods.
- Monitor product performance and report on sales.
- Handle administrative tasks related to the buying process.
- Work with both inbound and outbound teams on any product-related issues.
- Maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sample room.
- Track incoming and outgoing samples ensuring timely delivery.
- Gather line sheets and samples for studio photoshoots.
- Responsible for reviewing photoshoot pictures and providing comments to the studio, when necessary.
- Coordinate between editing team and copywriting team for any uploading issues.
- Stay up-to-date on current fashion trends, and use this knowledge to inform buying decisions.
Job Requirements
- 1 – 2+ years of professional fashion corporate or retail experience.
- High level of proficiency in Excel.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail a must.
- Ability to problem solve and identify solutions.
- Sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors to accomplish tasks.
