For the IT department we are now looking for a

Infrastructure Admin & Project Manager Tech Services IT DACH (m/f/d)

at the Bamberg location

YOUR MAIN TASKS:

• Management of the IT infrastructure for locations in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
• Ensure smooth operation of the IT system to ensure business requirements are met
• Manage, configure and install the DACH infrastructure (following the Group's standard policies), this includes: Servers, network, phone systems, printers and scanners, video conferencing systems and workstations
• Management of the hardware and software lifecycle of the DACH infrastructure to ensure that the obsolescence of all IT equipment is under control
• Ensure that information security policies, principles and practices are an integral part of the operating environment
• Ensuring high availability of the entire IT infrastructure at the site
• Consult with employees or customers on actions, either in person or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
• Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing and fixing hardware or software faults, replacing parts as required
• Prioritization and management of open cases in the ticketing system
• Support and collaboration on a global infrastructure rollout project to implement the Group IT standard
• Management and maintenance of servers, computer and software inventories and licenses
• Work on and lead IT related projects (local, regional and all corporate infrastructure projects) originating from the central team and business requirements
• Coordinate and communicate all IT related issues with internal and external resources
• Support and deploy collaboration solutions (Microsoft platform, workstation policies, etc.) in compliance with corporate IT standards and guidelines

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related subject or equivalent training
• Willingness to occasionally stagger working hours
• At least 5 years of experience with server and network infrastructure
• Solid experience with collaboration solutions (preferably M365)
• At least 5 years of experience with client devices
• Strong problem solving skills
• Experience in project work and (preferably) experience in managing small projects
• Virtualization such as VMWare system
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networks, LAN/WAN, switches and routers
• Telephony solutions, IP telephones (Cisco, 3CX)
• Knowledge of cyber security tools
• Ability to work in a team, reliability
• Willingness to stagger working hours
• Fluency in German and a very good command of English are essential
