**Job Description**

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our AdTech team and help build our next-generation AI-powered advertising platform. You’ll work alongside Product, Design, Data, and Engineering to design and deliver the backend services and APIs that power our advertising solutions, with strong standards for scalability, performance, and reliability.

**Responsibilities**

- Lead the design, development, and evolution of complex, scalable backend systems and services
- Architect and build reusable, maintainable backend codebases, shared services, and internal libraries
- Translate product and business requirements into technical backend designs and implementation plans
- Design and maintain robust APIs, data models, and service integrations
- Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, documentation, performance, and reliability
- Own backend features end-to-end: estimation, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement
- Mentor and support mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing
- Collaborate closely with Product, Frontend, QA, DevOps, Data, and Infrastructure teams to align on goals, scope, and delivery
- Contribute to technical decision-making, architecture discussions, and long-term platform and scalability strategy

**Qualifications**

**Required Skills**

- Professional English proficiency is mandatory for this role
- Strong experience as a backend software engineer working on production-grade systems
- Proven expertise in Golang and building high-performance, concurrent backend services
- Solid understanding of backend system design and full application lifecycle management (design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, refactoring, and bug fixing)
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs (and/or gRPC) with proper versioning and documentation
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and query optimization
- Ability to deliver high-quality, well-tested, maintainable code using industry best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently drive solutions from concept to production

**Preferred Skills**

- Deep understanding of backend and distributed systems fundamentals: concurrency, networking, HTTP, authentication/authorization, caching, messaging, and fault tolerance
- Experience with microservices architectures and service-to-service communication
- Strong experience with automated testing strategies (unit, integration, and contract testing)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Hands-on experience with production monitoring, logging, and debugging tools
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, code reviews, and collaborative engineering practices
- Knowledge of security best practices for backend systems (data protection, authentication flows, secrets management)
- Experience using AI-powered development tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude) for coding assistance, debugging, refactoring, test generation, and improving developer productivity
