Job Title : Integrated Dermatology Strategy (IDS) Strategic Marketing & Customer Education Head

Location : Paris La Défense (France)

Job description:

  • You will lead strategic marketing management, execute its programs in collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

  • You will implement policies to align and drive market objectives including brand portfolio growth, consumer & patient penetration & retention and P&L margin development, including launch and positioning of products/services in market with focus on creating a sustainable competitive advantage to enable future profitable growth for the business.

  • You will have a team of marketing managers, customer education and DMOS & transparency experts.

  • You will report directly to the General Manager France.

Key responsibilities:

  • Formulate marketing strategies, budget, and ensure pull through of customer-centric programs and services across all BUs to drive & leverage Galderma’s IDS (Integrated Dermatology Strategy) in line with overall company guidelines.

  • Drive differentiation for the brand/service offering to reach market objectives including brand portfolio growth, consumer & patient penetration and retention whilst ensuring proper P&L margin development.

  • Formulate strategies to choose the right customer, build relationships with them and create a competitive advantage. Strategies not only developed at brand/BU level, but also under the umbrella of the IDS strategy to advance both GAIN and SKIN programs.

  • Communicate strategic marketing leadership position and vision/strategy aspiration to customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Steer marketing of the products and brand to consumers & patients, within compliance guidelines, direct creation and deployment of marketing campaigns leveraging global campaigns/tools/deliverables to a maximum hereby avoiding duplication and/or inefficiencies.

  • Drive the creation and leadership of a consumer/customer-centric marketing organization to ensure long term brand loyalty.

  • Develop a strategy to cope with competitors, identifying market opportunities, developing, and commercializing new products and services, allocating resources among marketing activities, and designing an appropriate organizational structure to ensure the performance desired is achieved.

  • Lead and manage activities related to positioning of marketing efforts in relation to: extend of product diversity and geographic coverage, number of market segments (ensure implementation of strong targeting and segmentation), preferred marketing channels, role of branding, role of quality, role of training (internal and external).

  • Drives the forecasts of the brands (incl. per SKU level) as well as the ABPs and eventual LRRs, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

  • Lead and manage activities related to customer education, congress organization, health authorities’ declarations (DMOS, transparency) with your team.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree, MBA or equivalent.

  • More than 10 years at leadership / strategic position across Pharmaceutical Industry and/or Medical Aesthetics

  • Previous marketing experience incl. understanding of local market landscape and trends

  • Strong influencing and collaboration skills to partner with key internal stakeholders

  • Professional level in French and English
