Glocomms are looking for a Cisco Telephony & Videoconferencing Specialist to join this team in Toulouse, France. This role involves leading and implementing telephony and videoconferencing projects and supporting operational teams with complex incident resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Implementation:
- Lead and implement Cisco Telephony & Videoconferencing projects.
- Occasionally assist operational teams (L1 & L2) with complex incident resolution.
Incident & Problem Management:
- Handle major incidents, including qualification, action plans, resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), and knowledge sharing.
- Engage in problem management to identify and resolve recurring issues.
Skills Transfer:
- Ensure the transfer of skills to technicians and engineers through training and mentoring.
Customer Coordination:
- Respond to specific customer requests in coordination with the Team Leader/SDM.
Documentation & Testing:
- Update technical documentation, including high-level design (HLD) and low-level design (LLD) documents, as well as procedures.
- Perform hardware and configuration tests to ensure system integrity.
Skills and Experience:
Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Cisco environment.
- Strong knowledge of the Cisco telephony and video conferencing environment, including:
- Cisco Telephony environment v12.5 (CUCM, Unity Connection, Jabber, IPPhone)
- Cisco Videoconferencing (CMS, endpoints, TMS)
- Knowledge of VMware suite v7/v8.
- Mastery of SIP/H323 protocols.
- Fluent in English (read, spoken, and written) due to the international environment.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Kurmi, Telisca, Real-Time Monitoring tools, Prognosis, PeterConnects ecosystems.
- Understanding of WAN/LAN networks and security.
- Systems administration and PC environment knowledge.
Soft Skills:
- Team player with strong collaboration skills.
- Adaptable to change with a sense of service.
- Rigorous and detail-oriented.
- Curious and eager to learn new technologies.
