What you’ll do

The role of Head of Accounting - Working Capital is centric in the SSC organization (Shared Service Center) as you will have a significant role in the relation between accounting and internal and external stakeholders in order to maximize our impact. It requires strong business acumen as well as a deep role in accounting, process optimization and financial reporting IFRS and local Gaap.

You will be responsible for a team of 12 persons in charge of processing all volumetric accounting flows, and centralizing this information into central reporting monthly packages.

This role includes the following supervision of activities:

  1. AP processing: in charge of accounts payables (supplier invoices posting, payments runs, DPO, aging balances, short term payment forecast…)
  2. Sales administration and billing: in relation with IT services and business stakeholders, preparation of billing, customer direct debits, cash application.
  3. Cash collection: in relation with your correspondents in sales operations, collection activities for private and public organizations.
  4. Month end reporting: you will be responsible for reporting actuals on revenue, external expenses cut-off, fixed assets and related balance sheet and working capital impacts in IFRS and local Gaap.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Daily tasks

  1. BPO (business process owner) for accounts payable and order to cash processes
  2. Team management (12 people, 3 direct reports)
  3. Review of operating KPI’s (volume and quality control)
  4. Organize, collaborate and support local sales teams on customer inquiries (including ticketing process, commercial contracts…)
  5. Supervision of quality and controls
  6. Lead cash collection and ensure optimization of group DSO

Closing activities and Internal controls :

  1. As BPO you will be responsible for review of internal controls in Sox referential
  2. You will ensure accurate closing activities for your team

Efficiency optimization:

  1. Drive continuous improvement on internal control - Implement robust accounting controls and documentation globally
  2. Ensure efficient collaboration with other finance team (GL, FP&A, Corporate Finance), to ensure accuracy in accounts
  3. Identify process pain points and drive improvements.

You could be our next teammate if you:

  1. Have at least 8 years of experience in accounting with experience in analyzing discrepancies, and accounting controls;
  2. Have experience in financial audit;
  3. Have experience working in Shared Service centers;
  4. Have management skills in an agile environment;
  5. Are used to working in an international environment;
  6. Strong level of English;

Now, it would be fantastic if you:

  1. Have fluency in French and/or German
  2. Skills in SAP S4 Hana and/or Zuora (billing tool)
