We are looking for a dynamic and strategic sales leader to join our team at Château de Pommard. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales management, particularly within the wine industry. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Sales Officer will spearhead the Sales Teams, prioritizing the optimization of sales performance across the Sales channels.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to bolster revenue growth and extend market share in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Provide robust leadership and guidance to the sales teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
- Nurture enduring relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, market trends, and competitive landscapes to pinpoint areas for enhancement and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Formulate and oversee sales budgets, forecasts, and financial targets, ensuring harmonization with overarching business objectives and profitability aims.
- Collaborate closely with other departments, including marketing, production, and finance, to ensure seamless coordination and integration of sales initiatives.
- Ensure strict adherence to all pertinent laws, regulations, and industry standards governing sales and distribution of alcoholic beverages.
- Drive continual improvement endeavors within the sales organization, leveraging technology, best practices, and innovative solutions to amplify efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales management, with a focus on the wine or luxury goods industry.
- Demonstrated track record of success in developing and executing sales strategies that foster revenue growth and profitability.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal aptitudes, with the capability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver exceptional results.
- Profound comprehension of online, trade, and digital marketing methodologies, coupled with experience in e-commerce platforms and CRM systems.
- Excellent analytical abilities, with the capacity to interpret sales data, market trends, and consumer insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Strategic mindset combined with a creative flair and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with international sales practices, distribution channels, and regulatory requisites within the wine industry.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French or other languages is advantageous.
