Télécom SudParis is offering a postdoctoral researcher position to highly motivated and dynamic young scientists who wish to enhance their scientific career in a stimulating environment.
This position will take place within the framework of the European Horizon-Europe AMUSENS project, the objective of which is to develop a universal multi-pixel platform for measuring air pollutants, sufficiently agile to meet all market measurement needs. AI will be used both to accelerate the choice of materials but also for data fusion in order to determine specific models in gas analysis by type of applications. The AI methods to be designed and developed (data processing and deep learning techniques) will be based on specific databases existing or built in the project, in particular by establishing the characteristics of the different MOX sensors preselected in the preparatory phase in relation to the different types of gas selected to be detected.
The postdoctoral candidate will be in charge of the AI part and will work on the two IMT sites, the IMT Nord-Europe one in Douai (sensors and gas chemistry part) and the Telecom SudParis one in Palaiseau (data processing and deep learning methods part) with visits to the Evry site.
Level of training and/or experience required:
- Doctorate (PhD) for less than 3 years in the fields of Data Sciences, Pattern Recognition, Signal and Data Processing
Data processing and Classification methods
- Good level of English required (written and spoken)
- Knowledge in air quality domain
Ability to work in an international environment
