We leverage technology and expertise to support the restaurant’s growth.
Customers’ acquisition now happens online for restaurants. They need to be visible and attractive across many platforms but it requires time & expertise they don’t have.
We help restaurants reach their goals since 2018
We have bootstrapped the business for 4 years, building a profitable and expert company.
Then we’ve raised money to accelerate, build a strong SaaS and expand the business abroad. Cash efficiently remains part of our DNA.
We serve more than 2000 restaurants across 12 countries and have tripled our revenue last year.
We plan to repeat this +300% growth in 2024.
As Head of Finance you will oversee all finance and legal functions, reporting to founders and being part of Malou’s council committee. We need someone with a strong strategic sense and business maturity to prioritize major projects and provide a balanced perspective when needed.
This is a hands-on leadership role that requires an executive capable of handling high-level accounting and finance responsibilities as well as managing investor relationships as the company grows.
Fundraising and financing
- Structure cash flow operations.
- Define and support the organization’s fundraising plans.
- Manage the company’s budgets, capital, and liquidity.
- Oversee the treasury and tax management strategy of the company.
Relations with banks & BPI
Reporting and forecasting
- Drive the company’s financial planning andprepare reliable forecasting reports.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting for investors.
- Provide weeklyP&L and cash reporting to the CEO with business insights
Financial performance & Revenue Operations
- Develop and monitor the annual budget in collaboration with operational teams.
- Define and monitor the operational and financial plan, identify opportunities to improve financial performance.
- Optimize our growth model.
- Invoicing and cash collection monitoring.
- Drive revenue and ensure an effective recovery process.
Admin and Office management
- Prepare year-end closing and financial statements, supervise the audit of annual accounts in collaboration with auditors and accountants.
- Manage accountant relationships.
- Manage relationships with banks
- Project management of day-to-day administrative topics.
Team management
- Manage a team of financial and administrative staff (currently 2 people)
- Structure, recruit and train the finance team as Malou according to Malou’s growth.
Legal
- Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies.
- Manage lawyer relationships.
Profil :
- MBA in Finance or relevant field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as CFO.
- Strong flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to challenge “the way things are done”, drive, and implement change.
- Fluent in french
- Proficient in written and spoken English, especially CFO vocabulary.
- Excellent mastery of Google Sheets and Airtable.
- Experience in the following fields is an advantage: SaaS, working with , multi-countries operations, US market, international team, working with SMBs, working with restaurant owners.
