MISSIONS

Reporting to the Group CFO you will occupy a leadership role and your main responsibility will be to build a central procurement department for direct and indirect goods.

More specifically you will be entrusted with :

  • Developing a centralised procurement program
  • Set and facilitate the overall purchasing strategy of the organisation (namely for key raw materials, investment spent and indirect materials)
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of market conditions and update procurement strategies accordingly
  • Managing 2 purchasers and implement long-term goals for the department, deal with procurement team performance (developement plans, appraisals, procurement related training programs)
  • Identifying potential cost down and improvement opportunities
  • Becoming the primary contact for procurement related questions, training, policy and procedure interpretation
  • Communicating and ensuring alignment by all departments of procurement policies
  • Oversee contract development and administration and lead contract negotiations with key internal stakeholders, legal department and support groups.
  • Maintaining good working relations with strategic suppliers

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree
  • 8 à 10 years of related experience
  • Experience in management/ supervision
  • Expertise in purchasing, supplier collaboration, development and compliance
  • Experience with sourcing and procurement
  • Experience with building a vendor program
  • Knowledge of the health and safety rules applicable (DASH and ASAH guidelines)
  • Fluent in english

Nice to have : French or German are an advantage

SOFT SKILLS

  • Good leadership skills - ability to work in a cross functional way
  • Very autonomous and self-driven character
  • Structured and data driven with experience in process creation and implementation
  • Ability to implement a project from scratch and convince key stakeholders
  • Ability to evolve in an international environment

COMPENSATION

  • From 80K€ base onwards + 15/ 20% bonus

WHERE ?

  • Paris or Alsace area with willingness to travel 30/40% of the time
