Roles and Responsibilities:
Draft technical specifications (requisitions) for equipment tenders in various projects (e.g., Eastman Plastic Recycling, Marsa LNG, BP NZT).
Evaluate and compare technical offers from suppliers, providing clarification as needed.
Prepare requisitions for equipment orders and manage supplier relationships.
Participate in technical meetings with suppliers, providing comments and reviews on technical plans and designs.
Oversee equipment testing at vendor sites, ensuring all specifications and quality standards are met.
Ensure compliance with project-specific documentation and procedures, following the project's requisition and quality assurance processes.
Handle equipment packages for mechanical (LNG loading arms, air compressors, generators) and process treatment (gas drying, nitrogen production) or water treatment (demineralization, wastewater treatment) sectors.
Maintain project documentation quality, ensuring technical accuracy, clear presentation, and adherence to deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Degree in General Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Process Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical specification, supplier alignment, engineering coordination, or material supply.
Expertise in equipment requisition processes, including establishing specifications, evaluating supplier offers, and managing detailed engineering coordination.
Familiarity with mechanical and process equipment packages in the oil & gas, water treatment, or similar sectors.
Proficiency in codes and standards (API, AISC, ASME).
Strong technical documentation skills, including the ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations.
Experience working with databases such as PDB and VDB, and familiarity with T.EN and project-specific standards.
