We are a French Small Enterprise, founded in 1995, which business is centered around the production and the trading of compounds labeled with stable isotopes, mostly used for applications in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Mass Spectrometry (MS). Over the past 10 years, high-value markets in Electronics, Pharmaceutics and Energy have emerged, for which, thanks to constant innovation associated with massive investments in R&D, we have developed products and solutions. These include home-made flow chemistry manufacturing prototypes capable of competitively producing up to 10 tons / year of chemical compounds.

With a team of 20+ employees at our production facility located at Les Ulis, France, we have built a deep and solid expertise and recognition among its 500+ worldwide customers. With made in France solutions, we have high credibility to address the emerging European, US and Asian Markets.

THE JOB?

The Context:

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will be part of the Industrialization team whose mission consists in scaling up chemical processes coming from our R&D labs to large-scale production (from 10 - 100 grams to 100kg - 10-tons scale), ensuring that they stand in a fully automated skids, meeting efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and of course stringent quality and safety standards. A couple of projects have already entered in the industrialization step and several more will follow in 2025, you are therefore joining the company at the perfect timing. In a highly competitive environment, the full automation of our processes is key to provide cost-effective products made in France.

Your Missions :

  • Develop, design, implement and fully document automation strategies to enhance our continuous flow chemical manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into efficient automation solutions.
  • Configure, program, and troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and DCS (Distributed Control Systems).
  • Conduct regular assessments of existing automation systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in commissioning, validation, and qualification of automation systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to operational teams regarding automation systems.

WHO ARE YOU?

Your Profile:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Process or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years proven experience in designing and implementing automated systems for chemical processes.
  • Proficiency in automation software.
  • Proficiency in process simulation tools (Aspen Plus, HYSYS) is a plus.
