What are we looking for?
Minimum 10 years of Procurement and General Supply Chain experience in a progressive environment which includes the following: In depth understanding of SRM programs, continuous improvement programs, risk mitigation strategies; procure-to-pay technologies; MRP, and root cause of demand, price, inventory, and BOM variances.
Experience in Commodity markets and/or materials sourcing
Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field preferred
10+ years of experience in managing people
What will be your key responsibilities?
Leading the Direct buying organization across the following categories: Direct materials (Raw Materials/Ingredient Sourcing, Packaging Sourcing, Co-Packing, Co-Manufacturing, Buying Operations and Sustainable Sourcing) for regions
Working collaboratively and proactively with all key stakeholders e.g. Global Commercial, Global & Regional Finance, Regional Supply Chain & Factories, Regional & Global R&D, QA, CBU, Regional Sales, Regional P&O to deliver company’s business goals. This role will drive senior leader stakeholder engagement at VP & GM level in region
He/ She will be responsible for $.. spend across .. suppliers in order to ensure proper deployment of Commercial practices, policies and projects, creating a competitive advantage for Mars. He/ She is accountable for the execution of the regional strategies in conjunction with the Strategic Sourcing team and is accountable for driving efficiency through established performance targets and KPI measurements
