Our Sales & Marketing Graduate Traineeship Programme: The Mars Leadership Experience (MLE), is the perfect grounding for a career in Sales or Marketing leadership. You’ll manage projects, take on roles within local and global teams and make decisions with real consequences. The work will come thick and fast, preparing you for the challenges tomorrow.

The MLE comprises three 12-month placements. As a guide, you’ll typically during the three years you will be exposed to different areas of what we call our Demand (Sales & Marketing) side of the business as well as having the opportunity to work within 2 of our segments (Confectionary, Royal Canin or Pet Nutrition).

What will you do?

3 x 12-month placements.

You’ll have placements in Field Sales, Key Account Management, Marketing, Category Management or CRM. You will also have the opportunity to work across 2 of our segments – this could be our Confectionary, Pet Nutrition or Royal Canin businesses. All this will give you the visibility to find the right Demand career path for you.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities to manage projects and take the lead, allowing you to develop every day.

Who are we looking for?

You’ll have a Master’s Degree and you’ll be graduating in 2024 or have graduated within the last 2 years.

​​​​​​​You’ll need to be mobile within France. Your home sites could be Aimargues (near Montpellier), St-Denis-de-de l'hôtel (near Orleans) or Haguenau (near Strasbourg) and we ask that you are flexible during your time on the programme.

You'll also need to be fluent in French & English.

You’ll be passionate about your future career as a leader in Sales or Marketing and are open to learn and develop yourself outside your comfort zone.

You’ll bring an out-the-box thinking to Mars.
