Position Overview: Our client is seeking a highly motivated Associate with a background in M&A and a strong emphasis on TMT to join our growing team. As an Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting senior team members in executing M&A transactions, conducting industry research, financial analysis, and contributing to client presentations.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including conducting due diligence, financial modelling, and valuation analysis.
Conduct market research and industry analysis, particularly within the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sectors.
Prepare detailed presentations and reports for clients, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth transaction processes and ensure client satisfaction.
Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities within the TMT sector.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
3+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or corporate finance, preferably with exposure to TMT transactions.
Strong financial modelling skills and proficiency in Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Fluent in French and English, with exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude towards professional development.
