Accountable for all matters related to the Quantum/ Data engineering, fit for purpose and with full respect to the Statement of Requirement with approved changes.


  • Prepares and suggests technical content of essential studies to initiate EPC contractor action and conformity with state of the art in LNG plant design.
  • Ensure Quantum/ Data engineering design choices take into account constructability, operability and flexibility of the facilities
  • Proposes recommendations on technical deviation requests and keeps updated the documentation related to the Quantum/ Data engineering disciplines.
  • Ensure data availability, completeness, integrity/consistency, and reliability of the asset database throughout the different Project phases and data uniqueness, quality, and protection for the future Production phase
  • Configure and update the Asset-Reference Data Library (A-RDL) of his/her Asset database with support from Headquarters
  • Track all the modifications made over the Corporate HQ database (Master Data Model) due to Asset specificities.
  • Participate in the technical exchanges related to Tagging specification review and update the A-RDL for tag format validation
  • Ensure respect of backup and data security processes.
  • Verify and upload the data provided by EPC Contractor via excel template into the Digital Twin database. Issue a quality check report highlighting any errors/discrepancies/missing data to EPC contractor for remedial action. Supervise the data review/approval processes and keep trace of this issue register for follow-up.
  • Data mining (Extract, transform and map to Digital twin model for database upload) from Engineering lists and vendor documents in Excel format.
  • Develop tools to support instantiation of other databases from the Digital twin software solution
  • Ensures the correct implementation of Company rules and specifications (CR's/ GS's), Project specifications, relevant international standards and any applicable regulations requirements.
  • Leads the review of the CONTRACTOR' key deliverables such as: Quantum/ Data engineering Quantum/ Data engineering PO review consolidate comments from the other engineering disciplines and operations.
  • Provides technical assistance to the project for any technical audits (required by the banks and the insurance companies or Board of Directors, , PR...).
  • Participate, in coordination, with others to the Inspection and Tests Plans (ITP) and FAT preparation and execution. Ensure the quality and completeness of Quantum/ Data engineering Final Documentation (deliverables both from the Contractor and the Vendors) in compliance with Project Scope of Work, Specifications and Procedures and allowing an adequate hand-over to the Operations
  • Promotes workshops with the HQ specialist and or contractor's specialist in order to ensure COMPANY concepts and comments are well understood and quickly integrated in technical documents.
  • Guides EPC CONTRACTOR main design selection in a Fit-for-Purpose approach in order to reach an optimized design. Participates actively to proper interface management with other studies carried out during the EPSCC phase.
  • Participates to the Project PR
  • Organizes with its counterpart discipline weekly meetings and report highlights to its management with proposed mitigation measures when deemed required.
  • Provides its technical inputs to any contractual discussions with EPC Contractor.
  • Contributes to the development of the digital plant though the centric data management when applicable.
  • Participates actively to proper interface management
  • Call for/Participate to interfaces coordination activities and ensure synergies are developed between the different Contractors
  • Ensure design validity and coherence with other disciplines and throughout the LNG Facilities.
  • Assist commissioning, start up and Operation team when required. Organizes with its counterpart discipline weekly meetings and report highlights to its management with proposed mitigation measures when deemed required.
  • Provides its technical inputs to any contractual discussions with EPC Contractor.
  • Contributes to the development of the digital plant though the centric data management when applicable.
  • Call for/Participate to interfaces coordination activities and ensure synergies are developed between the different Contractors
  • Ensure design validity and coherence with other disciplines and throughout the LNG Facilities.
  • Assist commissioning, start up and Operation team when required. Chartered Data Engineer with proven experience with large Oil and Gas detailed design

several years of proven experience in EPSCC stage of projects,

  • Good teamwork, with previous team Management desirable
  • Fluent in English
