Key Responsibilities:

Oversee general accounting functions. Manage closing activities Audit support Balance sheet reconciliation Tax compliance Assist in implementing and management of projects in the area of finance and accounting.

Accounting

Perform general accounting GL activities. Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial closure and reporting process including analytical review and consolidation entries. Assist in both internal and external audits, maintain internal controls, and ensure adherence to financial regulations. Reconcile financial records, including bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable ensure all entries are accurate and that transactions are reported in accordance with accounting standards and government regulations. Contribute to corporate financial projects, process improvements, and system upgrades.

Tax

Take ownership of Tax compliance and reporting processes, ensure the timely and accurate tax return, direct and indirect, in collaboration with local firms. Assist the preparation and submission of accurate and timely tax returns, including income tax and other tax-related filings. Assist in external audits (Direct and Indirect Tax)

Team collaboration

Collaborate closely with cross-cultural, functional teams, tax professionals, operational departments, outsourced shared service centre and external auditors. Provide guidance and training to other team members. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or in a relevant discipline. Good command of English, both written and spoken. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, working knowledge of hospitality industry. Strong analytical and management report writing skills. Highly organized with detailed oriented and solution oriented attitude. Ability to work independently as well as working in a team. Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Additional Information
