What you'll do & Who you areWe are seeking an experienced Collections Team Lead to join our Finance teams in our Paris office.
As the Collections Team Lead, you will manage a team of collection specialists to ensure timely and efficient recovery of outstanding debts.
This is a hybrid role (2-3 days in the office), reporting directly to the Global Collections Manager.Job/Role Description :
Team lead on the day-to-day collections function Leading on AR reporting including debtors aging, unapplied cash etc.
activitiesManage daily, weekly and monthly targets as assigned by management and prioritise the collection of debt within the AR ledgerPoint of contact for all customer queries and resolve open cases with haste to enable timely reporting.
Perform internal investigation to support customer resolution of identified issues and propose solutions adapted to the client's economic situation.Use experience to support management in decision making process surrounding aged collections from debtorsPoint of contact with 3rd party debt collection supportLiaise with internal teams to understand if accounts should be suspended / reactivatedCalculate overdue interest in dunning letters, based on customer typePrepare and pass non collectable debtors to litigation / third party teamResolve disputes by working with internal teams and/or the customer to verify informationContinuously look for and create more efficient processes and implement improvementsQualifications:
Fluent French and English is essential (C1)
Strong experience across the dunning process, and accounts receivable principles & conceptsMinimum 2 years experience acting as Team Lead, within a Large Finance organisationStrong relationship management skills and ability to influence decision-making among senior stakeholders within a matrixed environment Strong financial acumen and analytical thinkingWorking knowledge of SAP S4 order to cash and accounts receivable capabilitiesHighly motivated and detail-oriented with an ability to take ownership and multi-taskProven success in collaborating with external clients as partnersExcellent communication skills with the ability to challenge & collaborateDemonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as a part of a teamExcellent Google suite & MS Office skillsExperience of lean methodology and continuous improvement is a plusBenefitsLife at Adevinta comes with its perks Our Adevintans enjoy the following benefits:
