We are excited to partner with an innovative European biotechnology company specializing in autoimmune and immuno-dermatology therapies in their search for a Clinical Development Director.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced clinical professional to play a key role in advancing the company’s early-stage pipeline. As the Study Director, you will lead the planning and execution of clinical studies, ensuring high-quality outcomes while supporting the development of therapies that address significant unmet needs.
The Opportunity
The Study Director position offers a chance to work with an innovative team focused on making a difference in autoimmune and immuno-dermatology treatment.
Key Responsibilities
Study Management:
- Lead the design, planning, and execution of clinical trials in line with development goals and timelines.
Operational Oversight:
- Oversee site selection, initiation, and monitoring to ensure protocol compliance and high-quality data collection.
- Monitor study progress, resolving issues as they arise and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Data and Quality Focus:
- Ensure data integrity and quality, working closely with teams to deliver accurate and reliable study results.
- Maintain compliance with ICH-GCP and regulatory standards throughout the study lifecycle.
Collaboration and Reporting:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, regulatory, and medical affairs, to support study progress and alignment with broader development goals.
- Provide regular updates on study progress to stakeholders and contribute to strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in life sciences (MD is a requirement) with 8+ years of experience in clinical study management, preferably in autoimmune or dermatology fields.
- Proven track record in managing Phase I/II trials, with a solid understanding of clinical trial design and operations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to handle complex projects and collaborate across teams.
- Experience working in biotech or fast-paced environments is a plus.
