As a Manager, you'll be responsible for one of the team in charge of the user interface allowing revenue managers in hotels to define the rates, conditions, prices of their rooms, and more globally part of the department in charge of the user interface of administration of the Amadeus Central Reservation System that allows to configure the Shopping and Reservation system of hotel chains.

About the role

Common accountabilities:
  • Manages a team of Staff employees and has accountability for their performance and results. Sets performance objectives, conducts performance reviews and recommends pay actions.
  • Defines a vision for the team in line with the department strategy and operational challenges and translates it into a concrete action plan. Works with a high level of autonomy, with some guidance from Senior Manager.
  • Acts as a reference across multiple areas, anticipating solutions to complex problems.
  • Optimizes efficiency based on knowledge and experience with the policies, procedures and business plan.

Specific accountabilities:

  • Responsible for a team of Software development engineers, Business Analysts and quality engineers
  • Managing the services provided by Contractor and DBS, delivering on top of Amadeus employees
  • In charge with the team of the management of the User interface of administration to setup prices and rates for Amadeus Central Reservation System (ACRS).

This team is part of a larger ecosystem and needs to strongly collaborate with backend counterparts and UI counterparts on other screens of the adminUI of ACRS

About the ideal candidate

5+ years of experience either in team management in hospitality sector or in a technical role in UI (developer, QA engineer or product definition analyst ideally) and looking to evolve into a team leader role.

Fluency in English is required

  • Define and share the technical/functional team roadmap and vision according to the department/division/company objectives
  • Report on team activities
  • Be accountable for the performance and results of a unit within own discipline or function
  • Develop plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
  • Suggest alternatives / improvements / new techniques in processes, flows, operational models and plans
  • Moderate budgetary impact on business

Technical excellence
  • Timely manage the investigation and resolution of production support issues and customer inquiries
  • Collaborate with other software development, architecture, solutions, and QA teams to ensure that software systems are designed for testability, stability, scalability, and performance.
  • Some knowledge on frontend technologies is a plus: HTML, CSS, JS, Angular, as well as backend for frontend technologies: Java, OJF
