We act as the primary voice of the real economy in a range of intergovernmental organisations – from the World Trade Organization to the UN climate process – championing the needs of local business in global decision making.
The convening power of our global network enables us to set rules and standards that facilitate over $17 trillion dollars in trade each year – as well as providing tailored products and digital services that directly address the real challenges faced by businesses operating internationally.
We also provide the world’s premier private global dispute resolution services, leveraging ICC’s unique independence, integrity and expertise.
We are currently recruiting an Assistant within our Global Events team to handle registrations, payments, customer service, as well as data management and statistics. Our Global Events team sits within the ICC Global Partnerships and Development department. Our mission is to leverage the presence of ICC across our network including through the promotion of global conferences, seminars and training programmes (including online events), delivering ICC services, standards and business tools to the private sector and key stakeholders at regional and global level.
The role
Main activities and administrative tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Registrations
- Replying to questions about events, terms and conditions
- Sending invitation letters for visas, certificates, logistical notes, etc.
- Setting up online registration for events
- Weekly reporting showing the number of participants and revenue of events
- Payments
- Managing promotional codes
- Establishing commissions for ICC national committees
- Chasing outstanding payments
- Managing the internal validation and state of payment of invoices from service providers
- Keeping the department’s global budget and individual event budgets up-to-date
- Data management and statistics
- Updating data in the CRM (creating speaker lists, cleaning and sending participant lists for upload)
- Compiling statistics on event registrations and revenue (CRM, ICC DRS App)
- Administrative tasks
- Assisting the team with new registration and event platforms
- Keeping the Global Events internal calendars updated
Requirements
- Experience in an international and multicultural environment
- Good command of English and French – Spanish would be a plus
- Mastery of common IT tools (Microsoft Office, Excel)
- Rigorous, sense of detail
- Well organised
- Good communication skills and commercial acumen
- Team player
