Here is what product managers at iziwork focus on, on a day-to-day basis :
1. “Build the right thing…”
- Understand your users’ pain points and needs through qualitative & quantitative research. We are data driven and we work hand in hand with all user groups.
- Build and nurture your vision in collaboration with the Design Team, based on the data you gathered and your constantly updated design culture.
- Contribute to the product discovery needed to assess and define what should be built.
- Turn your knowledge and insights into a clear message voicing your users’ needs.
- Make sure your team / stakeholders understand and embrace it through constant communication.
2. “… and build it right”
- Work closely with your squad to come up with the best solution to address the objectives you identified and ensure the corresponding features are intuitive, easy to implement, and fit well with the existing design elements..
- Explain the rationale behind your decisions with all stakeholders using a well defined and efficient process.
- Continuously maintain and improve the existing design system
- Prototype and test your solutions with real users
- Ensure that all designs shipped by your team meet accessibility standards
- Collaborate closely with developers during the entire production cycle to ensure the highest quality upon release
- Communicate in a timely manner all important information, ask for help everytime you need it and be a fast learner.
Candidate we are looking for :
- 4+ years of experience in Product Design
- Extensive experience in partnering with cross-functional teams like engineering and product managers to define, build, and maintain products
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Deep familiarity with design tools (we mainly use Figma, with a touch of Adobe Suite for motion design elements)
- Passionate about user-centric design and visual excellence
- Ability to innovate and focus
