Barrington James' specialized R&D division is partnering with an innovative medical company, a rapidly growing global leader in the sports medicine market. They are currently seeking an experienced R&D Engineer/Project Manager to join their team onsite in Dijon, France.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assess the feasibility of new projects, including the anticipation of technical and regulatory constraints as well as the risks that may disrupt its smooth running
  • Steering, coordinating, controlling and monitoring research and development projects in compliance with applicable standards
  • Design products, produce CAD models and their drawings, follow the production of prototypes, pre-series and 1st series
  • Provide support and coordination of the project until it is brought to market, including the industrialization, regulatory marking and documentation supply phases
  • Participate in the development of technical documentation and the preparation of medical CE marking files


We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

  • Level of training Bac +4/5 - Engineering degree or higher education in biomedical science
  • Proven experience in the management of medical device development projects / 5 years
  • A good level of analysis and synthesis of scientific and technical information
  • Fluency in French and English is essential
