Red are currently on the lookout for a Data Platform Manager for one of our key clients in France, this opportunity will be a hybrid role based in Paris and we are looking for someone who is open to working in a long term freelance contract. More details below:


Responsibilities:

  • Technical end-to-end accountability for data platform
  • Provide input on reusable components and make decisions based on cost estimates and technical feasibility
  • Provide Architecture guidelines and principles in line with data & analytics strategy
  • Ensure Platform capabilities and functionality is aligned with overall data & analytics strategy
  • Prioritize user stories and tasks and ensure deliverables are met


Experience:

  • 5 to 10 years’ experience
  • Experience in putting in place Data Platforms in a cloud environment


Skills:

  • Fluent in French & English (must)
  • Technical end-to-end accountability for data platform
  • Provide input on reusable components and make decisions based on cost estimates and technical feasibility
  • Provide Architecture guidelines and principles in line with data & analytics strategy
  • Ensure Platform capabilities and functionality is aligned with overall data & analytics strategy
  • Prioritize user stories and tasks and ensure deliverables are met
  • Scrum Methodology / Jira
  • Data modelling techniques
  • Excellence in communication, coordination & collaboration, stakeholder & risk management and especially with drive & leadership
  • Open minded and accepting challenges
  • Highly motivated, adaptable and flexible. Willing to integrate an existing environment and an existing project team
