Introduction: Join our client's ambitious multi-year initiative to modernize Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) across Europe. We are seeking a skilled Materials Management IT Functional Architect to define and implement the PSIMetals MES solution. This role will focus on streamlining material management processes and ensuring the successful adoption of the new system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the materials management strategy for PSIMetals, focusing on the entire material lifecycle from Production Order to shipment readiness.
- Support initial implementations and adapt the AM Flat Europe model for sites including Fos and Saint-Chély.
- Ensure model adoption, prevent deviations, and advise sites based on the common FE language prepared by CTO experts.
- Expand expertise to support implementations across other clusters in Flat Europe and Longs Europe.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Concerto project and manage connections to cross-functional model systems.
- Work within a "CoE MES PSIMetals" team alongside internal experts and PSI, with a focus on quality and manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in quality and product expert systems.
- Strong IT process and system orientation.
- In-depth knowledge of materials management concepts including traceability, production recording, and interactions with planning and quality tools.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into system rules and processes.
- Excellent communication skills for training end-users and collaborating with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical skills, abstract thinking, and empathy.
- Capability to propose process improvements and facilitate decision-making.
- Experience managing remote teams and interacting with external partners.
- Proficiency in French, Spanish, or German is advantageous.
- Self-motivated, highly responsible, and service-oriented.
Workplace Details:
- Remote work available with regular travel to implementation sites (1-2 days per week).
- Position based in 48200 Saint-Chély-d’Apcher, France.
