Job Description: Senior Sales Consultant - Aerospace, Defence and Automotive Industries

Position Title: Senior Sales Consultant

Location: Remote/Flexible with occasional travel - France or Germany

Position Type: Part-time/Consulting

About Us: Our client is a leading consultancy firm specializing in the aerospace, defence and automotive industries. They provide strategic engineering services and research and development solutions to help clients achieve their growth objectives.


Position Summary: We seek a senior sales executive possibly retired or has their own consultancy with extensive experience in the aerospace, defence or automotive industries. Ideally, they have worked for industry leaders such as Safran, Thales, Airbus, or BMW. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive network and deep industry knowledge to provide strategic sales consulting services to our clients. This is a flexible, part-time consulting role ideal for a retired professional or senior sales consultant looking to stay active in the industry and share their expertise.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and strategic guidance on sales and business development initiatives in the aerospace and automotive sectors.
  • Conduct market analysis and identify growth opportunities for clients.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to enhance client market penetration and revenue growth.
  • Mentor and coach client sales teams to improve performance and achieve targets.
  • Utilize industry connections to open doors and facilitate high-level introductions.
  • Support the development of proposals and presentations for client engagements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Assist clients in navigating complex sales processes and closing high-value deals.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience as a senior sales executive in the aerospace and/or automotive industries.
  • You must have had employment with industry leaders such as Safran, Thales, Airbus, or BMW.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development.
  • A strong network of industry contacts and relationships.
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape in both sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and provide actionable insights.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in consulting or advisory roles.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in aerospace and automotive.
