A leading investment bank specializing in Leverage Finance within the Europe and MENA region is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Associate to join its Leverage Finance Division. With a team of over 60 professionals dedicated to leverage finance, the bank is recognized for its strong presence and expertise in this sector. The role is based in Paris, but due to our global reach, candidates can also be hired to work from major cities across Europe, including Paris, Milan, Madrid, and Brussels.
Position: Senior Associate – Leverage Finance
Location: Paris (with flexibility to work from London, Milan, Madrid, or Brussels)
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Leverage Finance Involvement: Participate actively in the end-to-end process of leverage finance transactions, including structuring, negotiation, and execution of Term Loan B (TLB) and High-Yield Bond (HYB) deals.
- Sector Expertise: Focus primarily on transactions involving tech and innovative companies, bringing your understanding and insights into these dynamic industries to the table.
- Deal Execution: Oversee and manage the execution of deals, ensuring they align with the bank's strategic goals and risk appetite.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities and trends within the leverage finance space.
- Client Engagement: Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, investors, and other stakeholders to support business growth and maintain the bank’s reputation as a leading leverage finance provider.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the leverage finance team and support junior staff in their professional development.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in leverage finance or related fields within an investment bank or similar financial institution.
- Knowledge and Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in executing TLB and HYB deals, particularly in sectors such as technology and innovative companies.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with a proven ability to understand complex financial structures and present solutions effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Flexibility: Ability to work across multiple time zones and manage projects remotely, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
