INSEAD is seeking a Procurement Specialist, Facility Management, Real Estates and Campus Operations to join our Procurement department. This full-time, permanent position is based at our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France. We offer a hybrid working model, with 3 days on campus and 2 days working from home. Occasional travel between our Fontainebleau and Singapore campuses may be required.
About the Job
Reporting to the Facility Management & Real Estates Category Manager, the jobholder will be responsible for engaging in Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Selection, Contract Management, and Supplier Performance for their category. As a Procurement Specialist at INSEAD, you will oversee procurement activities for our global campuses in Fontainebleau, Singapore, and Abu Dhabi. This role requires international coordination and strategic sourcing to support campus operations and projects.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with INSEAD overall objectives.
- Identify opportunities for strategic sourcing and supplier consolidation to drive cost savings & efficiencies.
- Lead sourcing & negotiations initiatives with key suppliers to establish long-term partnerships and favorable terms.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on sustainability and ethical practices, managing vendor relationships to ensure service level agreements are met.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews, implement improvement plans, and manage approximately 45 recurring agreements.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational disruptions and ensure continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate procurement into broader business strategies and ensure compliance with policies.
- Enhance and implement ESG sustainability initiatives.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business Administration, or related field, coupled with a globally recognized professional Procurement accreditation (e.g., CIPS or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Procurement, with a solid understanding of Facilities Management and Renovation Works.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and demonstrate financial acumen.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels in a multicultural environment.
- Collaborative approach with a positive influence on the management team, demonstrating collective accountability and action.
- Customer-oriented mindset, comfortable working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in both French and English; fluency in French is preferred.
