Objectives of the Position:


  • Leading and coordinating the implementation of the Integrated Management System (Q, E and OH&S) and monitor the progress of the related action plan;
  • Identifying areas for process improvement, analyzing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing solutions to enhance overall quality and efficiency (for tools, organization, systems, processes, products and services concerned, etc.);
  • Conducting quality control checks to ensure products and services meet required standards and specifications through tests, audits, and inspections;
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by monitoring feedback, identifying issues or complaints, and implementing measures to improve customer experience;
  • Responsible for leading internal and external IMS audits;
  • Training employees on standards, procedures, and best practices, including developing training programs and providing support to ensure compliance to all standards.



Responsibilities:


  • Monitoring and reporting process malfunctions and quality deviations;
  • Updating and monitoring KPI, statistical tools, tools for monitoring equipment and ensuring its availability and reliability;
  • Planning and implementing the quality action plan and the resources needed to achieve it;
  • Leading, promoting and training in the quality approach, both internally and externally (suppliers, customers, sub-contractors);
  • Proposing and implementing quality improvement action programs (5S, Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma);
  • Drafting, distributing and updating IMS procedures in close cooperation with relevant stakeholders;
  • Management of internal and external audits to maintain ISO certification of the IMS (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001);
  • Preparing management reviews for the IMS in collaboration with management (setting the agenda, drafting the necessary content in close cooperation with relevant stakeholders, drafting the report, managing the action plan);
  • Guaranteeing the management of quality non-conformities (suppliers, customers and internal departments) until their closure with validation of actions in the system by participating in the investigation and handling of these non-conformities;
  • Managing supplier evaluation in collaboration with the various departments;
  • Listening to and gathering information from staff and all stakeholders with a view for continuous improvement of the service;
  • Ensuring that the IMS is used, applied correctly and meets deadlines;
  • Guaranteeing methodological uniformity throughout the Group.


QUALITY

Q1 – Apply and have applied the use of the Quality System tool for all non-conformity processing.

Q2 – Respect the use of the IMS documents and ensure that they are being used.

Q3 – Take part in reactivity meetings in the Q – area if requested.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

CI1 – Apply and ensure the application of the 5S policy and tool in the plant/my department and/or service.

CI2 – Propose improvements to processes and procedures.


HSE

HSE1 – Comply with and ensure compliance with the safety policy and instructions in the plant/my department and/or service.

HSE2 – Apply and ensure application of the environmental policy and associated instructions.

HSE3 – Take part in reactivation meetings in HSE- area if requested.



Education:


  • Master's degree or equivalent by experience;
  • French-speaking, very good knowledge of English and Dutch;
  • Proficiency in IT tools and process development;
  • Certified in executing internal audits;
  • Certified or experienced in Six Sigma or Lean is an asset.



Experience:


  • Min. 5-10 years of experience in quality management in industry or equivalent relevant experience.

  • The position involves two sites, Belgium (Moustier) and the Netherlands (Sas van Gent).
