YOUR MISSION STATEMENT
We are looking to hire a senior, business-minded, result-driven and high-ownership individual to support our Deputy CEO across the core initiatives of the Group.
As the Chief of staff to the Deputy CEO, you will be responsible for defining and delivering objectives of the group Core initiatives, in line with Business Units leaders, sponsors and team members.
A successful candidate will leverage leadership experience, problem-solving skills, and influence to promote a culture of excellence within the team. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a strong business sense, comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked and high-energy environment.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Drive key strategic programs on behalf of the Deputy CEO (integration, business turnaround, growth-related, product development & innovation).
- Challenge the level of ambition and underlying rationale, as well as defining the related roadmap.
- Coordination senior executives on priority projects for the company, identifying risks and roadblocks and deploy mitigating actions.
- Own program delivery toward the Board, the BU leaders and other Senior Executives.
- When needed, represent our Deputy CEO in key instances of meetings.
- Lead a team of Program managers to support you in that role.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- 5-to-10-year experience in top tier strategy consultancies (McKinsey, BCG & Bain) or equivalent experience in a similar position
- Ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope business requirements, manage risks appropriately and effectively
- Result-Oriented mind with a proven track record of on-time project/program delivery for large, cross-functional projects with global stakeholders
- Self-starter capable to take initiative and work with minimal direction
- Strong contributor eager to learn and develop within the company
- Experience in the transportation, supply chain or related industries, with Program ownership/management or Operations Management is a plus
