QA Engineer – Automation Testing

Wenham Carter are partnered with a leading provider of Infrastructure Automation & Orchestration and Cloud Management technologies serving the Telco, Cloud provider and large enterprise markets.
We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer specializing in Automation Testing to join the Quality Assurance team in Grenoble. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, scripting, and software development methodologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the highest quality of their telecom solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans and cases.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify and report defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
- Work closely with the DevOps team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Continuously improve and expand the test automation framework to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to existing automated tests to ensure their reliability and relevance.
- Identify, document, and track defects in bug tracking systems like JIRA.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in test automation and quality assurance.
Key Skills
● Minimum 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer (or similar).
● Educational background in Software Engineering or a related technical field.
● Experience in UI / API test automation
● Comfortable with Java development language ● Strong knowledge on Linux system
● Virtualization, Containerization
● Testing tools: Expertise in Selenium, Jenkins, Jmeter, Maven, Junit/TestNG, REST-assured, Testrail, Robot Framework…
