| What do we expect from you?


As a Product Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating the Functional and Product Safety activities within our team.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to define and drive the requirements management process for automotive product development and relevant documentation
  • Stakeholder management to drive horizontal and vertical linking of requirements, tests, and results
  • Responsible for regular project requirements status reporting
  • Support impact analysis in case of requirements changes
  • Manage and support data exchange process i.e. formatted printing, export/ import to and from various tools (Excel, Doors, ELM7, Oxygen,…)
  • Train development team in Requirements Engineering process and support Requirements Management Tools
  • Represent own business in Cross Business Alignments and Process Change Control Boards
  • Provide improvement suggestions from own business & implement Change Control Boards decisions in own business


Your profile:


  • Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree (information management, electronics, software engineering, or similar);
  • Min. 5 years of working experience in product definition and/or requirements engineering;
  • Very good communication skills / Soft skills;
  • Self-managed and organized;
  • Excellent English skills, both oral and written;
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262 specifications;
  • Programming skills in VBA / C++ are a plus;
  • Basic understanding of project management.
