Your primary responsibilities will include:- Establish a robust central control team in close collaboration with local controllers and CFOs as well as Regional functions to enhance the closing control environment.
- Lead, coordinate, and mobilize stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely quarterly outcomes:
- Maintain a high-quality control framework and ensure effective documentation for internal and audit purposes.
- Develop strong relationships with the FP&A team to ensure alignment of results with expectations and production.
- Act as an effective leader: offer decision support when required, communicate risks and issues effectively, and foster a high-quality work environment.
Responsibilities
Key duties and responsibilities
Reporting to the Scor SE Finance Director, you will:- Manage the quarterly entity results sign-off process across multiple GAAP bases (French IFRS, Solvency II)
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external audit teams to ensure a consistent view of the control environment at Legal Entity level.
- Analyze quarterly results for the Legal Entity, focusing on standalone KPIs, P&L, and Balance Sheet.
- Ensure clear and consistent entity clearance presentation and results.
- Verify Group and solo quantitative reporting processes include data reconciliation with other financial data.
- Document SCOR SII positions and ensure proper approval and regular updates.
- Review and update ICS controls.
- Prepare quarterly and annual board documentation.
- Assess French GAAP annual financial statements.
- Analyze Solvency II reports and provide governance-ready analysis of results.
- Collaborate with EMEA Reserving and EMEA FP&A teams for performance analysis.
- Support Finance Director in finance projects as needed.
Contribute to improving financial processes for the entity and ensure alignment with Group processes.
Internal flows review:
- Review internal retrocession plans and contracts.
- Analyze capital injection impact and loan efficiency.
Finance transformation involvement:
Support Scor SE Finance Director's roadmap by:
- Enhancing operational efficiency through process standardization.
- Streamlining closing times and optimizing tasks.
- Reinforcing procedures through review, improvement, and documentation.
Develop strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required experience & competencies
- Master's Degree in Accountancy, Actuary, or Finance.
- Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience in reinsurance or insurance sector.
- Financial audit experience with expertise in analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of French GAAP, IFRS, and Solvency II environments.
- Understanding of insurance/reinsurance business and principles.
- Programme management experience is desirable.
- Good grasp of actuarial and risk matters.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with process automation software is a plus.
