The Opportunity

The main purpose of this role is to increase customer satisfaction toward payment topics and develop new business in a portfolio of key international accounts within the Retail Organization. The professional we look for will play a relevant role in defining an overall strategy for their accounts, to be reflected in an account plan regularly reviewed. This role focuses on large European accounts, headquartered in France with a presence in multiple countries.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

- Defining and leading an overall strategy for their accounts, to be reflected in an account plan

- Coordinating and animating internal stakeholders on the accounts (operations support, project managers) as well as local account managers when relevant

- Identifying new opportunities with high sales growth potential, including cross-selling and up-selling

- Participating in business development with a long-term vision, covering new countries and markets

- Ensuring customer satisfaction and initiating actions for its continuous improvement

- Monitoring the budget and updating the forecast while providing reporting on a regular basis

- Supporting the execution of the sales strategy either centrally or locally (customer visits, events, emailing, ABM campaigns, partners, etc.)

- Developing and executing complex, customized sales solutions

- Building and maintaining relationships with multiple Customer Success Managers (CSMs) across various countries and coordinating with local account managers

Who Are We Looking For

  • - At least 6 years of experience, ideally with large European accounts - Strong background in payment systems (remote or proximity) - Excellent communication skills in English and at least one other language - Strong customer orientation and desire to achieve solid customer relationships - Ability to work independently with limited supervision - Strong team player with a positive attitude - Sales experience is beneficial but not mandatory - Adaptable and capable of engaging with various client profiles (IT Directors, Finance, Marketing) - Ability to engage in technical discussions and understand complex payment solutions - Experience in developing existing accounts rather than hunting for new clients - Proven ability to introduce new solutions and drive additional sales within existing accounts - Capability in acquiring new business areas within the account portfolio
