The Field Service Sales Specialist (d/f/m) is responsible for representing Cytiva ́s complete service portfolio and is acting as the primary customer point of contact regarding service requests in all allocated accounts in France.

This position is part of the Equipment Service Sales Organization and will be fully remote requires a travelling activity of approx. 50%. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

  • Securing and developing commercial service activities in the assigned sales area, including budget responsibility with strong focus on conclusion and maintaining of service agreements, service contracts, sale of spare parts, sale of services
  • Take personal ownership of the complete sales process including complex commercial negotiations with customers on site
  • Close coordination with account managers, service account managers, service technicians and other specialist sales teams in the field in order to achieve the best possible solution for the customer and to optimally exploit sales potential
  • Accurately forecast sales and growth opportunities within designated territory, using sales tools and applications
  • Representing Cytiva ́s vision and mission by participation in trade fairs and other customer events, creation and holding of presentations and training for customers and participation in the creation of marketing material

Who you are:

  • Successful completed studies in a relevant economic, technical or scientific field or successfully completed commercial training including
  • Several years of experience in selling services, preferably for customers from the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
  • Experience including proven track record of selling services and managing service contracts, preferably for clients in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industries
  • Strong influencing, interpersonal, networking, and communication skills to drive collaborative culture at all levels from Process Development scientist to C-Suite
  • Fluency in verbal and written French and English essential

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Already deeper understanding of Biopharma and Life Science customers' needs and business drivers, using this knowledge to develop account plans and strategies
  • Experience working in a matrix environment and managing multiple priorities through successful execution

Ce poste fait partie de l'organisation des ventes de services d'équipement et sera entièrement à distance en France , nécessitant une activité de déplacement d'environ 50 %.

• Sécuriser et développer les activités commerciales de service dans la zone de vente attribuée, y compris la responsabilité budgétaire avec une forte concentration sur la conclusion et le maintien des accords de service, des contrats de service, la vente de pièces de rechange, la vente de services

• Prendre en charge l'ensemble du processus de vente, y compris les négociations commerciales complexes avec les clients sur site

• Coordination étroite avec les responsables de compte, les responsables de compte de service, les techniciens de service et les autres équipes de vente spécialisées sur le terrain afin d'obtenir la meilleure solution possible pour le client et d'exploiter au mieux le potentiel de vente

• Prévoir avec précision les ventes et les opportunités de croissance dans le territoire désigné, en utilisant des outils et des applications de vente

• Représenter la vision et la mission de Cytiva en participant à des salons professionnels et à d'autres événements clients, en créant et en animant des présentations et des formations pour les clients et en participant à la création de supports marketing

Les exigences essentielles pour ce poste sont les suivantes :



• Études réussies dans un domaine économique, technique ou scientifique pertinent ou formation commerciale réussie

• Expérience avérée dans la vente de services, de préférence pour des clients de l'industrie pharmaceutique ou des sciences de la vie

• Expérience incluant un bilan prouvé de vente de services et de gestion de contrats de service, de préférence pour des clients de l'industrie pharmaceutique ou des sciences de la vie

• De solides compétences en influence, en relations interpersonnelles, en réseautage et en communication pour favoriser une culture de collaboration à tous les niveaux, du scientifique en développement de procédés à la haute direction

• Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais à l'oral et à l'écrit indispensables

Une expérience préalable dans les domaines suivants serait un atout :

• Une compréhension approfondie des besoins et des moteurs commerciaux des clients de la biopharmacie et des sciences de la vie, en utilisant cette connaissance pour élaborer des plans et des stratégies de compte
