This center of excellence brings together both CMA CGM Group employees and clients and partners, including large companies, startups, universities, research centers, and more.

TANGRAM opened its doors last May at Pointe Rouge in Marseille, in close proximity to ENSM. The site covers more than 8,500 square meters and includes a central Bastide, over 22 training and meeting rooms, an Event Center (auditorium), an Innovation Hub, a Café, and a Restaurant.



MISSION

TANGRAM was inaugurated last May and now aims to strengthen its event capabilities, complementing its current offering of training and innovation programs.

Reporting to the Director of TANGRAM, you will play a key role in the management and coordination of on-site events. You will be responsible for the design, planning, and organization of inspiring and strategic events for various departments of the Group and our clients or partners. Your mission will be to promote the image of TANGRAM and CMA CGM through high-quality events, manage logistical aspects, and ensure participant satisfaction.



RESPONSIBILITIES

Event Planning and Coordination:

  • Design and plan events such as conferences, seminars, and various workshops.
  • Coordinate the different logistical aspects of the events (rooms, equipment, catering, accommodation, transport, etc.).
  • Manage participation and communication with participants and speakers, serving as the key point of contact.
  • Implement processes (specifications, supplier book, etc.) to ensure smooth organization.
  • Ensure on-site operational coordination with various operational teams (reception, IT, maintenance, caterers, digital experience facilitators, etc.): oversee the smooth running of events in real-time alongside training and innovation programs, supervise the setup and dismantling of equipment, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards during the event.
  • Keep planning and organization tracking files updated to ensure other teams have visibility on these topics.

Supplier and Service Provider Management:

  • Select and negotiate with service providers (caterers, facilitators, photographers, etc.).
  • Ensure the quality of services provided by the various suppliers.

Promotion and Communication:

  • Ensure the coherence of events with TANGRAM's objectives while enhancing the CMA CGM brand image.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to promote events (social networks, website, newsletters, local media) in collaboration with the CMA CGM Group Communication team and the TANGRAM Communication team.

Budget Management:

  • Develop the event budget and monitor it with the TANGRAM Financial Director.
  • Monitor expenses and optimize costs.

  • Collect feedback and suggest improvements for future events based on the feedback received.


PROFILE AND SKILLS
  • Proven experience in event management within a leading event agency or a large international group.
  • Strong skills in organization, project management, and problem-solving, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work agilely in a team, collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, and unite them around common projects.
  • Attention to detail and rigor, a service-oriented mindset, and a customer focus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with perfect mastery of English.
  • Sensitivity to the challenges of training and innovation.
