MISSION :

Within the CIO Office, you will head a team of internal & external members whose mission is to create and manage a comprehensive project portfolio management system, develop associated documentation and processes from scratch, and build strong connections with CMA CGM business and IT teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Oversight: Act as a strategic advisor to the CIO and senior management.

Portfolio Development and Management:

Establish and manage a comprehensive project portfolio management system.

Develop and maintain all necessary documentation and processes related to project management.

Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and create reports to track and optimize project performance and Budgets.

Ensure alignment of projects with organizational strategic goals.

Moving towards capacity management.

Coordination and Supervision:

Provide strategic direction and oversight for all projects within the portfolio.

Coordinate with business teams to ensure projects integrate smoothly into business operations.

Regularly communicate with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and any issues to the Managements.

Team Leadership and Development:

Build and lead a dedicated project portfolio management team.

Play a key role in the transformation and development of the team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Mentor and support team members to ensure high performance and continuous development.

Process Improvement and Automation:

Identify and implement improvements to project management processes.

Automate and modernize existing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Lead change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes and tools.

Reporting and Analysis:

Generate detailed reports on project performance, budget utilization, and resource management.

Provide insights and recommendations for cost reduction and process efficiency improvements.

Areas of Expertise :

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :

Master's degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field.

At least 7 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record in establishing and managing project portfolios.

Experience in organizational transformation and change management.

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel and SharePoint).

Proficiency in English.

Good Excel Level Required: Strong Excel skills are necessary, including advanced functions and data analysis capabilities.

Knowledge of AirTable, ORCHESTRA, Qlik Sense: Familiarity with these tools will be highly appreciated and is considered a significant asset.

Strategic Planning and Execution: Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives. Ability to manage executive schedules, determine and prioritize business strategies, and oversee initiatives from ideation to implementation.

Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to build relationships across departments and ensure effective collaboration. Possess a can-do attitude and dedication to efficiency.

Analytical Skills: Experience in budget management, data analysis, and developing creative solutions. Strong project-reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication.
