Job Scope

The Applications Specialist will be responsible for application orientated support of instrumentation sales of the Diasorin portfolio. The candidate should reside in Westen part of France.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Pre-sale

• Study the flows and identify then present an optimal solution by highlighting the advantages offered by the system versus competitors

• Organize and carry out demonstrations of Liaison XL & Liaison XS Systems (CLIA)

• Organize and carry out demonstrations of the MDX System (Molecular Biology)

• Plan the Installations and the training of technicians.

• Contribute to the preparation of calls for tenders (technical files)

Installations & Demonstrations

• Deliver on-site training Referral Technicians & Routine

• Plan and launch the verification of methods (support the Client in the Accreditation process)

• Coordinate and realize the computer connection of the system to the LYS

• Ensure the start of production in accordance with contractual deadlines

• Prepare and ensure jointly with the Sales Team the demonstrations

Post-installations

• Regular monitoring of customer satisfaction.

• Monitor the "Delivered Patient Cost": in the event of a deviation in quantities (% of retesting, number of checks, number of Calibrations), implement all corrective actions in order to comply with the contractual clauses. (Process Compliance)

• Check and carry out physical inventories twice a year in consultation with the Sales Team.

• Promote and Install new parameters to increase and consolidate activities by system Installed in consultation with the Sales Team.

• Keeping abreast of the analytical performance of competitor tests and automates in order to offer the best alternatives to the solutions in place and increase our market share. (New systems and / or parameters) in coordination with the Sales Team.

• Consolidate the operation of all installed systems with regard to the technical and organizational requirements defined with the customer.

Customer management

• Continually assess customer needs to ensure uniform system operating conditions.

• Identify the solutions to be implemented to resolve any problem involving the other divisions of the company (Marketing, Clinical follow-up System Support Customer Service Customer etc.)

• Manage 2nd level trouble shooting.

• Promote and increase demand through communication missions within health establishments.

• Participate, if necessary, in national scientific conferences attended by clients.

• Participate in collaboration with the Sales Force, in the consolidation of national Mappings.

Planning of activities and reports.

In terms of work schedule, each Application Specialist must:

• Comply with the stipulations of the applicable company procedure (SAP

• Keep your diary up to date online and fill out your visit sheet after each visit and share it with the Commercial Director, Marketing Director, the Sales Team and FSE Engineers.

• Plan and organize activities taking into account not only customer requirements but also company guidelines.

• The Application Specialist must be aware of the following in his area of expertise:

The local DiaSorin clientele

The turnover of each customer

The start and end dates of the contracts

All calls for tenders in which the company participates.

All commercial projects

Geographical areas are likely to change depending on the number of systems installed regionally and the associated workloads.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications

Scientific degree (Biology) required.

Experience in a large IVD group.

Areas concerned: serology, hormonology, etc.

Immuno-Analysis, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology Market

Mastery of the client's issues and ecosystem

Fluency in English would be a plus.
