Job Description

The Director, EMEA South Renewals will collaborate with the Sales team to strategize and implement renewal approaches for the region, ensuring a consistent pipeline of renewals with enterprise-level clients.

In this role, you will oversee a team focused on renewals and work closely with various Sales leaders to formulate and execute renewal strategies.

Renewals are crucial for sustaining a SaaS company's revenue flow, and the Renewals Director will concentrate on meeting renewals targets while adopting a collaborative approach in engagement with the South Account Sales leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with EMEA South leaders to enhance our renewals strategy and interaction with the regional Sales teams
  • Ensure understanding and implementation of Renewal processes across teams
  • Effectively manage the South renewal process to drive revenue growth for ServiceNow and meet our sales/revenue objectives
  • Work with Sales leadership to ensure comprehension of our sales/renewals go-to-market strategies
  • Define roles clearly for team members and establish connections between departmental goals and the overall organization
  • Provide performance metric summaries to empower the sales team to focus on renewals execution, customer success, and account planning for renewals
  • Collaborate with the operations team to analyze trends and performance, enhancing efficiencies and achieving operational excellence
  • Engage with Professional Services and Alliances/Channels team to expand growth through partnerships
  • Assist Sales and Renewals representatives and leadership in renewal negotiations
  • Develop plans to bolster renewals, collaborating with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance teams
  • Partner with the broader Renewals organization to devise global initiatives that ensure the ongoing success of the renewals program and the team as a whole
Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in Renewal Sales or Customer Success leadership, preferably within a SaaS environment in local EMEA markets
  • The ability to drive operational excellence by utilizing data and efficient decision-making to achieve timely renewals
  • Expertise in Channel Management, with the capability to ensure on-time renewals with partners
  • The skill to make sound commercial decisions and execute them effectively
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the aptitude to communicate effectively across all business levels
  • Experience in devising programs that boost employee engagement
  • Proficiency in English and preference for fluency in French, Spanish, or Italian
