bTrace Tomorrow GmbH + Co. KG is the digitalization unitwithin food processing machine manufacturer BAADER. The focus is onan interdisciplinary team of digitalization experts* who arecommitted to using digital possibilities and a global network ofpartners* with the aim to improve the entire food value chain forall stakeholders* involved – for an innovative, transparent andsafe food supply.

We offer worksites in Hamburg and Lübeck and allow forflexibility as to how often and when you come in.
Our development work is based on state-of-the-arttechnology. We use a modular and scalable industrial internet ofthings platform to manage machines and production factories.Several web-technology-based applications deliver value to ourcustomers* and colleagues*. As Senior Frontend Engineer*,you will be part of reaching our goals by shaping the solutions inall these areas. You will be able to decisively design andimplement our applications and have a true impact on howdigitalization at BAADER is implemented.
Yourfuture tasks will include:- Designand develop our Edge and Cloud application frontend solutions inorder to digitalize several use cases in the food processing valuechain, including product tracking and tracing as well as machinemonitoring and maintenance support
- Designand implement a platform frame application that allows toselectively integrate various business applications in a modularway while providing standard functionality to all integratedmodules
- Provide solutions for visualizingand processing data from different data sources in the productionprocess as well as from various other backend systems
- Select technologies and frameworks needed to build thesolutions
- Ensure that our software isreleased quickly and with high quality by implementingstate-of-the-art DevOps practices (continuous integration,automated tests)
- Advance enhancement andoptimization of our frontend component library
- Act as a reliable partner* for our business applicationteams and our UX-Designer*
- Perform thefunction as a mentor for other developers in a senior role
- Youhave successfully completed a university degree in computer scienceor have a comparable qualification
- Relevantwork experience in frontend development using Type Script andAngular and experience in working with digital platforms,preferably in an industrial environment
- Responsiveness and user experience are important characteristics inyour design decisions
- Experience withfrontend component libraries (e.g. Storybook), knowledge in servicearchitectures and docker as well as experience in clouddevelopments are a plus
- You possess verygood knowledge of current frameworks and software developmenttechniques and have gathered experience in the application of agilesoftware development process models
- You areused to teaming up with UX/UI designers*, product owners* anddevelopment colleagues*
- Good communicationskills in English, both spoken and written, are necessary
- Creativity, problem-solving skills,persuasiveness and the willingness to mentor and teach other peopleare part of your personality
