Apprentice : Offshore Geotechnical Engineer - F/M/NB

Your mission
Within our Global Project center (GPC) engineering department, and involved in our prestigious offshore geotechnical discipline, you will be dealing with our exciting Oil & Gas and Renewable Projects.
You will be responsible for the design of deep and shallow offshore foundations, pipe soil interaction assessments, seabed intervention technics and support to Geographical Information System (GIS) in the Oil & Gas and the Renewable sector.
Your main missions will be:
- Getting knowledge and conduct capacity calculation of offshore foundation at ULS. You will be exposed to Finite Element Analysis using the widely used PLAXIS geotechnical software.
- Becoming familiarized with SLS checks and carry out those assessments.
- Acquiring knowledge for the geotechnical installation analyses technics
- Being exposed to Pipe soil interaction assessments in undrained/drained conditions
- Support to the selection of the most suitable cable trenching technics for wind farm projects
- Support in our data base consolidation process related to our Geographical Information System (GIS) process for oil & gas and renewable projects.
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate from a last year school of engineers for minimum 1 year apprenticeship program with good communication skills, solid knowledge in science (math, calcs, physics) willing to learn and curious by technical topics. Knowledge in soil mechanics would be a plus. Since we are a multicultural team, the candidate will have to communicate in English orally and in writing.
