Blue Alliance Marine Protected Areas is a leading NGO dedicated to regenerating oceans at scale through marine conservation and blue economy initiatives. We manage large Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) across the world and develop sustainable businesses that benefit coastal communities. This role is at the heart of a growing NGOs and social enterprises ecosystem, with multiple international entities and diverse missions. You will ensure reliable numbers, and above all help international teams understand, adopt, and use financial information in a practical, actionable way. A key part of the mission is to continue building and rolling out a management/analytical accounting model that will be used by both Finance and Operations to steer performance and support decision-making. Main Responsibilities - Continue building, implementing and deploying the management/analytical accounting framework (cost allocation logic, project/program profitability, KPIs), ensuring it is understood and used by Finance and Operations - Ensure accurate and consistent accounting and robust intercompany transaction reconciliations across 12 entities - Coordinate month-end / quarter-end / year-end closing processes - Engage with local teams and external advisors on tax-related topics to understand implications without needing expertise in every local standard - Manage and develop the accounting team (coaching, organization, priorities, continuous improvement) - Support the organization in improving processes and data quality, working with NetSuite (ideally) Why Join Us? Be part of a mission-driven organization scaling rapidly to protect 25% of the world's coral reefs by 2050.- Significant experience in management/analytical accounting, ideally in a multi-entity environment and/or donor-funded projects (NGOs, foundations, international groups, impact projects) - Strong general accounting foundation and IFRS fundamentals - Proficiency with financial systems/ERP and advanced Excel; experience in reporting implementation is a plus - Collaborative mindset; ability to work in an international environment with diverse stakeholders (local teams, management, donors, lenders, partners) - Excellent communication and pedagogy skills - High autonomy, organizational skills, and rigor - Analytical mindset, ability to take a step back and propose concrete solutions - Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
