Job Opportunity: Network Connectivity Architect
Role: Network Connectivity Architect
Location: 1-2 days per week in Paris
Duration: Long term
Start Date: ASAP
Languages: Must be fluent in English and French
Context:
This role is 100% oriented towards User Connectivity, revolving around LAN, WAN, WIFI, and SD-WAN technologies. The aim is to help build and populate the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Development:
- Define, advertise, and ensure the delivery of sustainable, robust, and secure network solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Group Security, CTO, and the One Network Program to propose cost-effective solutions that bring business value and support corporate strategies.
Product Management:
- Contribute to and support medium to long-term product evolution and continuous improvement.
- Manage the advisory, selection, design, secure build, and integration for products within scope.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Facilitate communications and interactions between functional groups, IT Services, strategic partners, and vendors.
- Ensure Quality of Service (QoS) delivery and support for solutions.
- Provide high-level expertise and support on products and services.
Core Activities:
- SDWAN design for new scopes and standardization across different Managed Services.
- Design wireless and wired standards (LAN/WAN) for office users.
- Manage projects related to wireless technologies.
Requirements:
Experience:
- Proven experience driving large architecture, standardization, and transformation initiatives.
- Expertise in remote site design patterns, security solutions, and IT infrastructure best practices.
- Extensive experience managing LAN, wireless, and WAN infrastructure.
- Broad knowledge of technologies deployed in global LAN, WAN, and SDWAN environments.
Technical Skills:
- Implementation and management of Cisco Catalyst.
- Implementation and management of wireless networks using Cisco.
- Implementation and management of Cisco DNA and other management tools.
- Implementation and management of Cisco Viptela.
- Implementation and management of Cisco Meraki.
- Implementation and management of ISE (NAC).
- Implementation and management of VMware VeloCloud.
- Implementation and management of Cisco ASA.
- Implementation and management of other LAN, wireless, and SDWAN solutions.
